In response to Gracie’s blog post #1; motivation impacting learning experiences. https://edci335course.opened.ca/courses/

For me, I am very similar to Gracie in the sense that learning new languages as always been a struggle. I tried French and Spanish too but had the same results. I’ve always wanted to register for the American Sign Language course, but was worried I would have the same results as my efforts in French and Spanish. The way that Gracie stats the motivation she receives from the professors makes it very eye opening. I think that this is such a great way to approach the idea of trying something new, and it puts it into perspective for me to look at more things this way. To find motivation in one way or another. This motivation will help to strive in achieving personal goals and help with the process along the way. I also appreciate the strong finishing sentence “I credit the shift in motivation that can blossom into passion…” This is a powerful and encouraging statement.
